Mrs. Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo is a Deputy Chief Health Tutor at the Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Korle-Bu under the Ministry of Health. She schooled at St. Mary’s Secondary school where she attained her School certificate and Advanced Level Certificate. She holds a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Nursing with Psychology from the University of Ghana, Legon. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast.
She is a Foundation Fellow of the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives and a Fellow of the West African College of Nurses and Midwives. She has in the past served as an examiner and Chief examiner for the Nursing and Midwifery Council in the conduct of licensure examination for nurses and midwives in Ghana.
She has served as the General Secretary of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association from January 2012 to date representing the interest of nurses and midwives at the local and international level. Before occupying that portfolio, she was the Korle-Bu district Assistant Secretary in the Greater Accra branch of the Association.
She is a Founding Member of the Health Sector Occupational Pensions Scheme (HSOPS) and is currently a licensed Trustee of the Scheme and serves as the Member Secretary of its Board.
She is married with three children.
